You’re no doubt going to hear the trademark scream of “GOOOOAAAALLLL!!!!” sometime or another in the next few weeks as the FIFA World Cup kicks off today in Brazil. To commemorate this hugely popular quadrennial sporting tournament, we thought we’d share a behind the scenes video of how the most important part of the game is made. The official match ball will be called adidas Brazuca this year.
Straight from the FIFA website:
“The informal term “brazuca” is used by Brazilians to describe national pride in the Brazilian way of life. Mirroring their approach to football, it symbolises emotion, pride and goodwill to all.”
We’re looking forward to a great few weeks filled with international competition and sportsmanship. Go Team USA!
